Another beautiful day in the neighborhood! Good ground and fast horses made for a great day at Branford today!
Sally Young and Malcom topped the Open class with a 15.026.
Emilee Jackson and Hope won the Youth class with a 15.208.
Sally Young and Malcom won the Seniors with their 15.026.
A huge thanks to our grounds men today. Dennis Baldi stepped in and covered getting the pen ready this morning until Joe was able to get to the show. Great teamwork!!
Our next show will be at the Hamilton County Riding Club in Jasper. I will get directions to the pen up shortly. Hope to see everyone there next weekend!

Please check the schedule page as a few changes have been made.
The district voted to continue with payouts and awards the same as last year.
If you would like to receive awards at the end of the year and place in the top 5 of a division then the following must be paid by the State show in June.
Open: $30
Youth: $15
Seniors: $15
Arlene Price has volunteered to keep track of the money and also to do the awards again this year. Arlene will be at some of the shows but you may also mail her the money if you wish. Please make checks out to Arlene Price.

A quick update to the schedule. The 2/18/12 show at Jasper has been moved to 2/11/12. And the Live Oak show on 3/24/12 has changed location to the Lake City rodeo arena.
A huge congratulations to our newest World Champion Julia Hulbert and Payroll At Six!!
World was a lot of fun this year in Perry and the weather couldn't have been better! We had a good showing from FL 08 and our members did us proud as usual!
The week started off with the 21 race. CJ Zipperer won the 3D, Dave Ralph took 3rd in the 3D, and Diane Goetzman took 9th in the 5D.
Next was the Senior 1st Go. Dave Ralph took 4th in the 2D. The Senior 2nd Go saw Susan Ross qualifing for the finals.
The Open 1st Go had Jennifer Peurrung taking 1D 5th, Diane Sandstrom took 4D 13th, and Heidi Carden qualified to the finals. The Open 2nd Go saw Jennifer Peurrung taking 1D 7th and Pat Beck taking 5D 3rd.
The Senior Finals were Friday night and Dave Ralph placed 4th in the 1D!! Susan Ross Placed 4th in the 3D!!!! Way to respresent FL08!
The Open Finals were on Saturday night. Jennifer Peurrung took 4th in the 2D. Pat Beck is the Reserve Champion in the 4D! And as we all know Julia Hulbert is the 5D Champion! Heidi Carden also placed 15th in the 5D. Look for Julia at the shows with her new 4 Star trailer!!!
I think I can speak for all when I say we are sooooo Proud of all of you. What a great year FL08 has had!
It was announced at the Open World show this year that the Youth World will also be held in Perry Georgia for the 2012 year. We hope this will increase our youth attendance for Youth World next year!!
There has been a rule change with the NBHA. The fastest time of the class will set the time for the payback and 00 points. District points will begine with the fastest time from a district member. Members will therfore compete against the entire class for payback but only against their own district for the district points.
Welcome to all our new members! I hope everyone will make them feel at home in our district.
